Long blooming bee powerhouse with delightfully cucumber-flavored flowers.
Honeybees especially go wild for borage, which blooms all summer long. Easily self-sows, but the oil from their difcult-to-catch seeds is potent medicine. Both the scratchy leaves and the dainty owers are edible and have a pleasant cucumber avor and the spines disappear when cooked. Open-pollinated.
